Accreditation

You don't need to sign up for our Hypnotherapy Professional Training in order to be accredited with us. We simply need to assess your skills, and we will certify you with the Board of Hypnotherapy Professionals.

Guide To The Certification Process

There are four phases to the certification process. In each phase we expect you to demonstrate a different set of skills that show a deep understanding of how to help others create real change. The whole certification process will take between 3-6 hours and will require you to perform live sessions with supervision. If you cannot find somebody to act as the client we can provide one for you. Our goal during the certification process is to see if you have all the skills you need to help clients heal with all manner of issues and challenges and prove that you have the tools to be a clinical hypnotherapist.

PHASE 1: INTERVIEW

All candidates for our Certification must successfully exhibit a certain level of competency in:

Deep understanding of the Principle of Abstraction, and how to fluidly use abstractions to overcome blocks.
Understanding the principals of forgiveness, and it's value in helping clients heal from their traumas
Ability to work with kids, and an understanding how pediatric hypnotherapy differs from adult hypnotherapy
Understanding of the Nature of Addiction
Understanding the ethical considerations of hypnotherapy, and what it means to support a healthy client-practitioner relationship
Ability to explain Hypnotherapy to others using intuitive language, and be relatable to others while doing so

PHASE 2: INITIAL SESSION

Ability to use non-judgmental language with others, and provide a safe space for clients to open up and heal
Ability to help somebody into hypnosis, and demonstrate the nature of trance for clients
Ability to recognize trance in others, and spot hypnosis when it occurs naturally
Understanding ethical consent within the framework of hypnotherapy, and the ability to weave natural consent into your sessions
Ability to use any interactive approach such as Parts Therapy to

PHASE 3: FINAL SESSION

Understanding of the role of Somatics in mental health, and how to use them to narrow in on the source of an issue
Ability to use Regressions to Cause in a hypnotherapy session
Ability to build impromptu suggestions on the fly, and to use those suggestions to support previous work in the session

PHASE 4: BUILDING A SUGGESTION SCRIPT

Ability to build professional quality client recordings, and use auxiliary needs to support the client's main session goals

When you have completed your assessments you will be given:

✔ Certification with the Board of Hypnotherapy Professionals
✔ The right to use our logo in your own hypnotherapy marketing materials
✔ Access to an ongoing network of Hypnotherapists with that you can collaborate and improve with
✔ Access to additional recorded sessions performed by other hypnotherapists on real issues for demonstration and learning
✔ Access to a variety of scripts and resources for your own use and study
✔ Additional consideration for possible employment and referrals when applicable
